BACK TO ART

I worked as a designer and art director for many years – with a degree in visual communication and a particular love for illustration and typography.

In 2020, when the pandemic shifted priorities for many people and life suddenly followed a different rhythm, I found my way back to painting. I let my creativity run free again. Just like before. What emerges is not controlled. It feels easy. The opposite of control is trust – perhaps that is the secret.

Inspired by nature, its structures and its magic, my paintings appear playful and lively. With just a few lines, I let little characters appear in the motifs: a thousand beings, tausend Wesen.

In 2025, I took a big step and quit my job (even though I loved it despite everything).
Today, I live in two worlds – in Germany and in the south of France.

My studio in Barjac is open to visitors on several days.

ZURÜCK ZUR KUNST

Viele Jahre habe ich als Designerin und Artdirektorin gearbeitet – mit einem Diplom in Visueller Kommunikation und einer besonderen Liebe für Illustration und Typografie.

Im Jahr 2020, als die Pandemie für viele Menschen die Prioritäten verschob und das Leben plötzlich einem anderen Rhythmus folgte, fand ich zur Malerei zurück. Ich ließ meiner Kreativität wieder freien Lauf. Wie früher. Was dabei entsteht, ist nicht kontrolliert. Es fühlt sich leicht an. Das Gegenteil von Kontrolle ist Vertrauen – vielleicht ist genau das das Geheimnis.

Inspiriert von der Natur, ihren Strukturen und ihrer Magie wirken meine Bilder verspielt und lebendig. Mit wenigen Linien lasse ich kleine Charaktere in den Motiven erscheinen: tausend Wesen.

2025 habe ich einen großen Schritt gewagt und meinen Job an den Nagel gehängt (auch wenn ich ihn trotz allem geliebt habe).
Heute lebe ich in zwei Welten – in Deutschland und in Südfrankreich.

Mein Atelier in Barjac ist an manchen Tagen für Besucher geöffnet.

J'ai travaillé pendant de nombreuses années comme designer et directrice artistique, avec un diplôme en communication visuelle et un amour particulier pour l'illustration et la typographie.

En 2020, alors que la pandémie a bouleversé les priorités de nombreuses personnes et que la vie a soudainement pris un autre rythme, je me suis remise à la peinture. J'ai laissé libre cours à ma créativité, comme autrefois. Le résultat n'est pas contrôlé. Cela semble facile. Le contraire du contrôle, c'est la confiance – c'est peut-être là le secret.

Inspirées par la nature, ses structures et sa magie, mes oeuvres d'art sont ludiques et vivantes. En quelques traits, je fais apparaître de petits personnages dans mes motifs : des milliers d'êtres, tausend Wesen.

En 2025, j'ai fait un grand pas en avant et j'ai quitté mon emploi (même si je l'aimais malgré tout).
Aujourd'hui, je vis dans deux mondes : en Allemagne et dans le sud de la France.

Mon atelier à Barjac est ouvert certains jours aux visiteurs.
